Introduction

Beginning therapy can bring a sense of relief—and understandably, some uncertainty. Whether you're new to counseling or returning after some time away, it’s natural to wonder what to expect. Every therapist has a unique approach, and part of our work together will be discovering what feels right for you.

Our sessions will move at your pace. I will meet you where you are, creating space for whatever you're carrying that day—whether it’s processing deep emotions, exploring patterns, or simply needing a place to feel heard.

My priority as your counselor is to build a trusting, non-judgmental relationship where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. Together, we will focus on supporting your strengths, managing challenges, and helping you move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

If you or someone you love is struggling, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. Reaching out is a powerful first step—and I’m here when you’re ready.

Background

I’m originally from Northeast Ohio and have called the Columbus area home since 2013. I earned my undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 2010 and went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings—including community agencies, hospitals, and private practices—allowing me to support clients with a wide range of mental health concerns. While I treat a broad spectrum of symptoms, I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety both mentally and physically, find relief from depression, and heal from the lasting impacts of childhood trauma.

Outside of the counseling room, I value time with my family and close friends, especially when we’re outdoors (three seasons out of four!). I also enjoy golfing and staying current with emerging research in the mental health field.
